You can configure alerts that allow you to receive notifications if an instance of your process appl fails. To enable and configure instance failure alerts, follow the below steps:

1. Click the Settings tab on the top.
2. By default, the General Settings page is displayed.
3. On the left pane, click Alerts.
4. On the Alerts page, turn on the Instance Failure Alert toggle and configure the following details:
   1. Notify To – By default, the Process Owner is selected. So, the alert notification is sent to the Process Owner.
   2. Subject – By default, the subject of the notification mail is displayed. For example, a request has failed.
   3. Message – By default, the message is displayed. The reason for failure will be appended to the message you draft. You can modify only the custom message.
