The <\/span>Confirmation Node<\/strong> allows you to prompt the user for a <\/span>Yes<\/span><\/em> or <\/span>No<\/span><\/em> answer.  It helps when you want to verify information or allow the user to make a choice.<\/span><\/p>\n

For example, in <\/span>Book Flight Bot,<\/span><\/em> you can use a confirmation node to prompt the user to respond if they would like to know the weather forecast at the destination.<\/span><\/p>\n

The confirmation node’s conditional transitions go beyond the <\/span>If-Else<\/span><\/em> expressions. The transition depends on user reply: assertion (yes) or negation (no). The <\/span>Else <\/span><\/em>condition comes into play if their answer isn’t both.<\/span><\/p>\n

Add the Node<\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n

Setting up a confirmation node in a dialog task involves the following steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Open the dialog task to which you want to add the Confirmation node.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Add a Confirmation node in the designated place. For steps related to adding nodes, <\/span>refer here<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. The Confirmation window is displayed with the <\/span>Component Properties<\/strong> tab selected by default.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
