To add the Cisco Webex Teams (formerly Cisco Webex) channel to your VA, the developer must create a dedicated VA app and an integration app in Cisco Webex Teams.<\/span><\/p>\n

Adding the Cisco Webex Teams channel to your Kore.ai VA is a four-step process to allow end-users to interact with it using their <\/span>Webex <\/span><\/em>accounts.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 1: Create a Bot with Cisco Webex Team<\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n

To create a Bot from within Cisco Webex Teams, please follow the steps below:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Log in to the Cisco Webex Developer Portal<\/span><\/a> and proceed to the <\/span>Start Building Apps<\/strong> page or to the <\/span>My Webex Apps<\/strong> page.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Click the <\/span>Create a New App<\/strong> option and choose the <\/span>Create a Bot<\/strong> option.

  3. Provide all the required information to create the bot and click on <\/span>Add Bot<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. This step will create a <\/span>Bot User<\/span><\/em> and an <\/span>Access Token<\/span><\/em> is also generated for accessing this bot.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Make a note of the <\/span>Bot Username<\/strong> and <\/span>Access Token<\/strong> from this page.

    Step 2: Enable the Cisco Webex Team channel from the XO Platform<\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n
      \n
    1. In the XO Platform, select the assistant you want to add the channel to.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Go to <\/span>Deploy > Channels, <\/strong>and select <\/span>Cisco Webex Teams<\/strong>..The channel window opens.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Enter the <\/span>Bot Username<\/strong> and <\/span>Access Token<\/strong> from the previous step.<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Make a note of the <\/span>Redirect URL<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Step 3: Set Up an Integration with Cisco Webex Team<\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n

      1. On the Cisco Webex Team Developer portal, click the <\/span>Profile<\/strong> drop-down list on the top-right and go to the <\/span>My Webex Apps<\/strong> page.<\/span><\/li>\n
      2. Click <\/span>Create a New App<\/strong> and choose the <\/span>Create an Integration<\/strong> option to add a new integration app for Webex.<\/span><\/li>\n
      3. Provide all the required details to create the integration like integration name, description, logo, etc. This information must be user-facing as this is displayed to end-users in the permissions dialog.<\/span><\/li>\n
      4. For <\/span>Redirect URI(s)<\/strong>, paste the <\/span>Redirect URL<\/span><\/em> from the previous step.<\/span><\/li>\n
      5. Under <\/span>Scopes<\/strong>, select <\/span>spark:all<\/em><\/strong> for enabling bot communication.<\/span><\/li>\n
      6. After providing all the required information, click the <\/span>Add Integration<\/strong> to create the new integration app.<\/span><\/li>\n
      7. This step creates a new integration app and also generates the Client ID and Client Secret for this app.<\/span><\/li>\n
      8. Make a note of the <\/span>Client Id<\/strong> and <\/span>Client Secret<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Step 4: Complete Cisco Webex Team Channel Configuration from the XO Platform<\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n

        1. In the XO Platform, on the Channel Configuration page, enter the Post URL where you want Webex <\/span>Client ID<\/strong> and <\/span>Client Secret<\/strong> noted in the previous step.<\/span><\/li>\n
        2. Enable Channel<\/strong> to complete the configuration.<\/span><\/li>\n
        3. Save<\/strong> the configuration.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
