To add the LINE channel to your Kore.ai bot, you must set up a webhook integration to configure the connection between LINE and Kore.ai. Adding the LINE channel to your Kore.ai bot allows end-users of your bot to interact with your bot using their LINE<\/em> accounts. To add the LINE channel to your bot, you must:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Create a Provider<\/b> – To set up the LINE channel, log in to your LINE developer account to create a New Provider or select a Provider that you want to use for this bot and then add the channel. To enable the LINE channel, you must create and register for a developer account in the LINE Developers portal.<\/li>\n
  2. Enter Channel Information<\/b> – Enter channel information for Messaging API like App Icon, App Name, Plan, Category, subcategory, and email address.<\/li>\n
  3. Setup Webhook Integration<\/b> – To enable the LINE integration to your Kore.ai bot, enable webhook integration by copying the Webhook URL<\/strong> provided in the Configurations<\/strong> tab of the LINE Channel page in the bot builder.<\/li>\n
  4. Enable Channel <\/b>– After the integration setup and entering the configuration details in the bot builder, you must enable the channel.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    Create Line Provider<\/h5>\n
      \n
    1. Log in to your LINE Developer account portal<\/a>.<\/li>\n
    2. If you already have a Provider<\/em> that you want to use for this bot, then choose the provider from Provider List.<\/em><\/li>\n
    3. Under the Messaging API <\/strong>section, click Create Channel<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    4. Or, if you wish to add a new provider, use the Create new provider<\/strong> option to create a new provider.\"\"<\/li>\n
    5. Enter the Provider name<\/strong> and create a new provider.<\/li>\n
    6. After you have created the provider, select Create Channel<\/strong> under the Messaging API<\/strong> section to continue with the addition of the channel.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      Add LINE Channel<\/h5>\n
        \n
      1. In the Bots<\/strong> section of the Bot Builder<\/strong>, click the bot for which you want to add the LINE channel.<\/li>\n
      2. On the Channels<\/b> tab, click the LINE<\/b> icon. The LINE Channel<\/b> page is displayed.<\/li>\n
      3. In the Enter channel information<\/b> field, provide the required details and create the channel like App Icon, App Name, Plan, Category, Sub-category.<\/li>\n
      4. Click Confirm<\/b>\u00a0to review and proceed with channel creation.

        Note:<\/b> Kore.ai platform uses PUSH_MESSAGE<\/em> APIs to deliver non-interactive messages to the end-users of the bot. These scenarios include cases like alert notifications, session closure messages, and any other scenario where the replyToken<\/em> from the Line channel is either not available or expired. These API calls called may be charged; review the LINE plan options and select the appropriate plan that suits your needs.<\/p>\n

        Capture Channel Details<\/h5>\n

          1. After the channel is created, you are redirected to the Provider dashboard<\/strong> with a list of channels available.<\/li>\n
          2. Select the channel you have created above to continue with channel configurations.<\/li>\n
          3. Capture the Channel ID<\/strong> and Channel Secret<\/strong> of your LINE channel and provide them in the Configurations <\/strong>tab of this page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
            Enable Webhook Integration<\/h5>\n
              \n
            1. To set up webhook integration, go to Messaging Settings<\/strong> section and enable the Use Webhooks<\/b>\u00a0option.<\/li>\n
            2. Copy the Webhook URL<\/em> provided in the Configurations<\/strong> tab of the Channels page and enter in the Webhook URL<\/strong> field.<\/li>\n
            3. Click Update<\/b>.\"\"<\/li>\n
            4. After saving the webhook URL, click Verify <\/b>to ensure that the webhook call from LINE is acknowledged by the Kore.ai platform.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
              Review Additional Options<\/h5>\n

              1. Review additional options available for your LINE channels like group behavior, auto-replies, and greetings messages. <\/span><\/li>\n
              2. Go to the Configurations<\/strong> tab of this page and complete the setup<\/span>.\n
                  \n
                1. WEBHOOK URL: Provide URL without https:\/\/<\/em> as LINE already includes that part.<\/li>\n
                2. CHANNEL ID: Capture the Channel ID<\/em> of your LINE channel and provide it here.<\/li>\n
                3. CHANNEL SECRET: Capture Channel Secret<\/em> from your LINE channel and provide it here.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  Edit LINE Channel<\/span><\/h2>\n

                  To edit the LINE channel, follow the below steps:<\/p>\n

                    \n
                  1. Hover over the channel and click to modify. You can make necessary updates to your channel configurations and save them.<\/li>\n
                  2. You can also disable or delete the channel information by clicking the Settings<\/b> icon.

                    \nSelect one of the following commands to modify the channel:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                      \n
                    • Disable\/Enable<\/b> \u2013 Click Disable<\/b> to temporarily disable the use of the LINE channel for your bot. To enable the use of the LINE channel, Click Enable.<\/b><\/li>\n
                    • Delete<\/b> \u2013 Click Delete<\/b>. On the Delete Confirmation<\/b> dialog box, click OK<\/b> to permanently delete the bot channel configuration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
