When you add the email channel to your bot, Kore.ai automatically generates the email address that the end-users can send an email for communications with your bot. By default, the email address syntax is < bot name >.kore@m.< kore host ><\/b>. For example, assembla.kore@m.app-bots.kore.com<\/b>. Optionally, you can click Change <\/b>to add a custom name, such as MyBot.kore@m.app-bots.kore.com<\/b>
\nOn adding the email channel to your bot, end-users for your bot can interact with your bot using any standard email client, such as Microsoft Outlook<\/em>\u00a0or Yahoo<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Add Email Channel<\/span><\/h1>\n

To add the email channel, follow the below steps:<\/p>\n

  1. In the Bots<\/b> section of the Bot Builder, click the bot<\/em> that you want to add the email channel to.<\/li>\n
  2. On the Channels<\/b> tab, click the Email <\/b>icon. The Email Channel<\/b> page is displayed.<\/li>\n
  3. Optionally, in the Email<\/b> field, you can change the first portion of the address set to the bot name by default.<\/li>\n
  4. Under the Enable Channel<\/b> section, select Yes <\/b>to enable the channel.<\/li>\n
  5. Click Save<\/b>.

    The Channel added successfully<\/em> message is displayed.<\/p>\n

    Edit Email Channel<\/span><\/h1>\n

    To edit the email channel, follow the below steps:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Hover over the channel and click to modify.<\/li>\n
    2. You can make necessary updates to your channel configurations and save them.<\/li>\n
    3. You can also disable or delete the channel information by clicking the Settings\u00a0<\/b>icon.

      \nSelect one of the following commands to modify the channel:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
        \n
      • Disable\/Enable<\/b>\n
          \n
        • Click Disable<\/b> to temporarily disable the use of the email channel for your bot. To enable the use of the email channel, Click Enable.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
        • Delete<\/b>\n
            \n
          • Click Delete<\/b>.<\/li>\n
          • On the Delete Confirmation<\/b> dialog box,\u00a0click OK<\/b> \u00a0to permanently delete the Bot channel configuration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
