To refer to the fundamentals of dialog tasks, read <a href=\"\/v7-1\/docs\/bots\/bot-builder-tool\/develop\/dialog-task\/dialog-tasks\/\">Dialog Tasks<\/a>.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"w-separator size_small with_line width_default thick_1 style_solid color_border align_center\"><div class=\"w-separator-h\"><\/div><\/div>\r\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column \">\r\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\r\n\t\t\t<h4>Default Dialog Nodes<\/h4>\n<p>Nodes that can be added to universal bot are limited compared to the standard bots. Below is the list of nodes that can be added to the default dialog task in the universal bot:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Send a message<\/li>\n<li>Ask a question<\/li>\n<li>Ask for an entity<\/li>\n<li>Make a service call<\/li>\n<li>Run a JavaScript<\/li>\n<li>Initiate Agent Transfer<\/li>\n<li>Enable WebHook connections<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"w-separator size_small with_line width_default thick_1 style_solid color_border align_center\"><div class=\"w-separator-h\"><\/div><\/div>\r\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column \">\r\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\r\n\t\t\t<h4>Customize the Default Dialog<\/h4>\n<p>Follow these steps to customize the default dialog message:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Open the universal bot for which you want to configure new channels.<\/li>\n<li>Hover over the left navigation panel and click <b>Natural Language -&gt; Default Conversation<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>On the Natural Language window, click <b>Default Dialog<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Listed will be the default dialog &#8211; <strong>Intent Not Identified<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<a ref=\"magnificPopup\" href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/univDefaultDialog.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-19023\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/univDefaultDialog.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"820\" height=\"461\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Click to open the dialog. You will see an Intent and Message node already configured.<\/li>\n<li>You can customize the default dialog like any other dialog task adding the above-mentioned nodes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"w-separator size_small with_line width_default thick_1 style_solid color_border align_center\"><div class=\"w-separator-h\"><\/div><\/div>\r\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column \">\r\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\r\n\t\t\t<h4>Customizing the Default Dialog for an Enabled Language<\/h4>\n<p>If the Kore.ai NLP engine cannot recognize the user intent, the universal bot responds to the users with the default dialog. You must create language-specific versions of the default dialog for each enabled language so that such bot responses go in the users&#8217; preferred language.
