To add the Workplace by Facebook channel to your bot, you will need a developer portal Facebook<\/em>\u00a0account to configure the connection between Facebook Workplace<\/em> and Kore.ai. Adding the Workplace by\u00a0Facebook channel to your Kore.ai bot is a 3-step process to allow end-users for your bot to interact with your bot using their Facebook<\/em>\u00a0Workplace<\/em> accounts. To add the Workplace by\u00a0Facebook channel to your bot, you will need to:<\/p>\n

  1. Create a\u00a0Custom Integration<\/strong>\u00a0– In your Facebook Workplace<\/em>\u00a0admin account, you will need to create an app to provide authorization for communication between Facebook Workplace<\/em> and your Kore.ai bot.\u00a0To create a Facebook<\/em> app, you must have\u00a0an admin account.<\/li>\n
  2. Define Permissions<\/strong>\u00a0– Select which permissions the bot can use to interact with your bot in the Workplace by Facebook channel.<\/li>\n
  3. Get App Secret and Token<\/strong> –\u00a0To use Facebook Workplace<\/em>, you must generate an access token, and copy the app secret from Facebook Workplace into bot Builder to provide authentication for communications.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    To add the Workplace by\u00a0Facebook channel<\/strong>
    \nTo complete the following procedure, you must have, or register for a new admin\u00a0account in the Facebook Workplace Developers Portal<\/em>\u00a0at\u00a0https:\/\/< Your Domain<\/em><\/strong> >.facebook.com\/work\/admin<\/span>.<\/p>\n

    1. In Bot Builder, in the Bots<\/strong>\u00a0section, click\u00a0the bot that\u00a0you want to add the Workplace by\u00a0Facebook channel to.<\/li>\n
    2. On the Channels<\/strong>\u00a0tab, click the Expand<\/strong>\u00a0 icon for the Workplace by Facebook<\/strong>\u00a0section. The Workplace by Facebook Channel<\/strong>\u00a0page is displayed.<\/li>\n
    3. Log in to your Facebook Workplace<\/em> admin account, and then click Integrations<\/strong> on the left-hand navigation menu. The\u00a0Integrations<\/strong>\u00a0page is displayed.<\/li>\n
    4. In the Available to install<\/strong>\u00a0section, click Create your own custom integration<\/span>. The Create Custom Integration<\/strong>\u00a0dialog is displayed.<\/li>\n
    5. In the Name<\/strong> field, enter the name of the integration\u00a0displayed to your end-users, for example,\u00a0My Kore AI Custom Integration<\/span>.<\/li>\n
    6. In the Description<\/strong> field, enter a description for your application, and then click Create<\/strong>. The new integration is displayed in the Installed<\/strong> section.<\/li>\n
    7. Click the Settings<\/strong> \"\"\u00a0icon for your integration. The Edit Custom Integration<\/strong> dialog is displayed.<\/li>\n
    8. To add an icon to your integration, click Update<\/strong>, select an image, and then click Crop and Save<\/strong>. You should use the same icon as your bot icon.<\/li>\n
    9. In the Permissions<\/strong> section, select the following permissions:\n
