Kore.ai provides integration for a built-in Meetup Bot that you can use to display message notifications and execute tasks directly from the Kore.ai application. To use the Meetup Bot, you just need to add the Bot to your Kore.ai account, and then configure the settings for the Bot. This topic describes the Meetup built-in Bot for Kore.ai. About the Kore.ai Bot for Meetup
Meetup helps members to find and join groups unified by a common interest, such as politics, books, games, movies, health, pets, careers or hobbies. This bot tells you when events you’re interested in attending are scheduled.

To configure Meetup RSS for Kore.ai, you need to add the Meetup Bot from the Bot Store in the Kore.ai application, and then setup the task.
To setup a Meetup task, click Connect to Meetup, enter your Meetup account user name and password. After you are connected, you can veiw and run Meetup directly from the Kore.ai Messaging application or other channel and setup message notifications to get notified when an event occurs in Meetup.
You can integrate a Meetup task with Kore.ai. To configure the Comment on a Event task, click New Task, click Comment on a Event, and then in the Perform Task dialog:
- select an Event
- and then, enter a Comment
You can setup message notifications to your Kore.ai account using Meetup RSS. Click New Task, click Get notified when…, click Meetup Updates, and then in the Setup Task dialog:
- optionally customize the Task Name
- optionally customize the Short Description
- enable or disable Mute task notifications.
- and then, optionally customize the interval for message notifications in the Check for updates… section.
After the Meetup RSS is configured, when any of the events occur in Meetup, a notification is displayed in your messaging channel.
