The enhancements are summarized below.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Voice_Call_Properties\">Voice Call Properties<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Dynamic_Values_for_Timeout_Duration_in_Voice_Call_Properties\">Dynamic Values for Timeout Duration in Voice Call Properties<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>This update enables dynamic timeout settings for voice calls via environment variables. Users can now manage timeouts across multiple components without manual adjustments. This approach enhances consistency, reduces errors, and simplifies voice call property management.<\/p>\n<p>The users now have two options for setting timeout durations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Preset<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Select a maximum wait time between 1 and 60 seconds to receive input.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Environment Variable<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Select any environment variable from a drop-down list or use a search bar to find a specific variable. <a href=\"https:\/\/developer.kore.ai\/v10-2\/docs\/bots\/bot-builder-tool\/dialog-task\/voice-call-properties\/#Dialog_Node_Settings\">Learn more<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"NLU\">NLU<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Ability_to_Import_ML_Utterances_from_One_Language_to_Another_without_Translation\">Ability to Import ML Utterances from One Language to Another (without Translation)<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The platform now supports copying utterances between languages within the same app. This feature simplifies importing and synchronizing utterance data across multiple languages. For example, \u201c1 2 3 45\u201d is identified as \u201c12345\u201d. <a href=\"https:\/\/developer.kore.ai\/v10-2\/docs\/bots\/bot-builder-tool\/dialog-task\/entity-types\/#zip\">Learn more<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Digital_Forms\">Digital Forms<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Option_to_Clear_Default_Date_During_Design_Time\">Option to Clear Default Date During Design Time<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Date fields on digital forms now have a clear (&#8216;x&#8217;) icon, which allows users to easily remove the default date value. <a href=\"https:\/\/developer.kore.ai\/v10-2\/docs\/bots\/how-tos\/travel-planing-assistant\/travel-va-configuring-digital-forms\/#The_Form_Editor\">Learn more<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Agent_Transfer\">Agent Transfer<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Attachment_Sharing_Between_Users_and_Live_Agents\">Attachment Sharing Between Users and Live Agents<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Users can now send files to agents during conversations. This improves communication and helps solve issues faster. This feature is currently available only for ServiceNow agent integration.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Capability_to_Handle_Agent_Fallback_Errors\">Capability to Handle Agent Fallback Errors<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The platform has introduced a new &#8220;Agent Transfer fallback response&#8221; to improve user experience during agent transfers. Instead of leaving the conversation idle, the platform can now inform users with an appropriate response that can be configured in the app definition.\u00a0 This feature allows for clearer communication and better handling of technical issues during agent transfers.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Channels\">Channels<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Discontinuation_of_the_Google_Business_Messages_Channel\">Discontinuation of the Google Business Messages Channel<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Google announced the discontinuation of the Google Business Messages channel from July 31, 2024. This channel will be phased out in the coming weeks. If you have alternative chat channels, consider inviting your customers to continue conversations there. Key features and enhancements included in this release are summarized below.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Digital_Forms-2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Digital Forms<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Preprocessor_Script_Support_for_Digital_Forms\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Preprocessor Script Support for Digital Forms<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Digital Forms module now provides the ability to dynamically configure the form definition and behavior. The newly introduced Preprocessor configuration allows updating the form definition dynamically using JavaScript. The platform executes this preprocessor during the runtime and delivers the form definition to the channel. The preprocessor can use the environment, content, and context variables.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The following are some of the key use cases:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dynamically changing the form field titles, descriptions, etc.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dynamically populating the values of fields, for e.g., options in a\u00a0 drop-down component<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Changing the language of the messages to support multilingual conversations\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The koreUtil library has been extended with the &#8220;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">getFormDefinition&#8221;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> function to retrieve and modify the form definition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This feature also helps address the current limitation of system messages available only in English. The &#8220;formMsgMeta&#8221; section of the form data contains the full list of system messages and errors, which can be modified using the Preprocessor. <a href=\"https:\/\/developer.kore.ai\/v10-2\/docs\/bots\/bot-builder-tool\/digital-forms\/#Configuration_setup_using_Pre-Processor_script\">Learn more.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"BotKit\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BotKit\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"OnVariableUpdate_Event_Support_for_the_Universal_Bot\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">OnVariableUpdate Event Support for the Universal Bot<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Universal Virtual Assistant now supports the &#8220;OnVariableUpdate&#8221; BotKit event.
