For more information, read the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/developer.kore.ai\/v10-2\/docs\/bots\/advanced-topics\/authorization\/bot-authentication\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bot Authorization Overview<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> article.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Kore.ai XO Platform supports the following authorization types for the Bitly integration:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Pre-Authorize the Integration<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 To make the integration process smoother for developers and customers, you can pre-authorize it by providing the necessary authorization credentials to obtain the access token.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Allow Users to Authorize the Integration<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 This method requires the end user to provide credentials during the conversation for authorization. This authorization process involves requesting permission for Kore.ai\u2019s Bitly app to access an access token at runtime. To learn more about Bitly, see <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dev.bitly.com\/docs\/getting-started\/authentication\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bitly Documentation<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Enable_the_Bitly_Action\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enable the Bitly Action<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><b>Prerequisites<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Before enabling the Bitly action, complete the following prerequisites:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you don\u2019t have Bitly account credentials, create an account in the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dev.bitly.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bitly Developer<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> console and note down the login credentials. See <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dev.bitly.com\/docs\/getting-started\/authentication\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bitly Documentation<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for more information.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Create a custom app on the Bitly admin page.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Copy your Bitly account\u2019s personal access token and keep it for future use.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Pre-authorize_the_Integration\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pre-authorize the Integration<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><b>Basic Auth<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can authorize the integration using your credentials.
