Kore.ai\u2019s virtual assistant (VA) serves as the central point of interaction for the users. The VA facilitates communication and interaction between the user and the NiceInContact agent. In addition to its regular capabilities, the VA acts as a proxy or intermediary between the users and the NiceInContact agents to hand over conversations seamlessly. The VA also allows you to integrate with the NiceInContact platform.<\/p>\n
Configuration<\/span><\/h2>\nTo configure the NiceInContact agent, follow the instructions in the sections below.<\/p>\n
Step 1: Create a User in NiceInContact<\/span><\/h3>\nTo create a user, follow these steps:<\/p>\n
\n- Log in to https:\/\/login.incontact.com\/<\/a> with your NiceInContact credentials.<\/li>\n
- Click the Create New<\/strong> link under the Admin > Users<\/strong> menu and select the Single User<\/strong> option.

Step 2: Register an App and Retrieve an API Token<\/span><\/h3>\nTo retrieve an API token, you must register your application. Follow these steps to register the app and retrieve the API access token:<\/p>\n
\n- Log in to https:\/\/login.incontact.com\/<\/a> with your NiceInContact credentials.<\/li>\n
- In the NiceInContact Central website, under the ACD > ACD Configuration > API Applications<\/strong> menu and click Create New<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
- Enter the Vendor Name<\/strong> and an Application Name<\/strong> to register your application.<\/li>\n
- Enter the Vendor Name as PlatformIntegration<\/em> and a relevant Application Name as PlatformInt<\/em>.\n<\/li>\n
- Under API scope, select only the following scope:\n
