For more information, see <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/developer.kore.ai\/v10-1\/docs\/bots\/advanced-topics\/authorization\/bot-authentication\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bot Authorization Overview<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Kore.ai XO Platform supports the following authorization types for the Confluence integration:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>Pre-Authorize the Integration<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 To make the integration process smoother for developers and customers, you can pre-authorize it by providing the necessary authorization credentials to obtain the access token.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>Allow Users to Authorize the Integration <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u2013 This method requires the end user to provide credentials during the conversation for authorization. This authorization process involves requesting permission for Kore.ai\u2019s Confluence app to access an access token at runtime.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><b>NOTE<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: The Confluence integration can be authorized only for the Developer and the Enterprise editions. The developer authorization lets you authorize the integration with the preconfigured Kore.ai app or use the custom authorization profile to let a developer configure the integration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Steps to authorize a Confluence action using developer credentials:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Go to <\/span><b>Build &gt; Integrations &gt; Actions<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and select the <\/span><b>Confluence<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> action.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the <\/span><b>Configurations<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> dialog, select the <\/span><b>Authorization<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> tab.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enter Authorization<\/strong><br \/>\nCreate your custom authorization profile to obtain an access token and use it to complete integration without using Kore.ai\u2019s Confluence app for authorization.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"3\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select <\/span><b>Custom<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to enable the custom authorization profile.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"3\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click the <\/span><b>Select Authorization<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> drop-down and select the
