You can also search and view time off requests, who is out and update request status using the pre-built templates.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This document explains how to enable, authorize, configure, and install the BambooHR prebuilt templates.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Authorizations_Supported\">Authorizations Supported<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The Kore.ai XO Platform supports basic authentication to allow BambooHR integration to exchange data. For more information, read the <a href=\"https:\/\/developer.kore.ai\/v10-1\/docs\/bots\/advanced-topics\/authorization\/bot-authentication\/\">Bot Authorization Overview<\/a>\u00a0article. <\/p>\n<p>The Kore.ai XO Platform supports the following authorization types for the BambooHR integration:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Pre-Authorize the Integration<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; To make the integration process smoother for developers and customers, you can pre-authorize it by providing the necessary authorization credentials to obtain the access token.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Allow Users to Authorize the Integration <\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; This method requires the end user to provide credentials during the conversation for authorization. This authorization process involves requesting permission for Kore.ai&#8217;s BambooHR app to access an access token at runtime. To learn more about BambooHR account types, see <a href=\"https:\/\/documentation.bamboohr.com\/docs\">BambooHR documentation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"h.merhe2a7no9u\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Step_1_Enable_the_BambooHR_Action\">Step 1: Enable the BambooHR Action <\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Prerequisites<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>Before enabling the BambooHR action, complete the following prerequisites:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you don\u2019t have BambooHR account credentials, create a developer account\u00a0in BambooHR and note down login credentials. Use the <a href=\"https:\/\/documentation.bamboohr.com\/docs\">BambooHR Documentation<\/a>\u00a0for more information.<\/li>\n<li>Copy the user sub domain and API key values and keep them for the future use to enable the integration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Steps to enable the BambooHR action:<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li>Go to <strong>Build &gt; Integrations &gt; Actions<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Once you click the <strong>Actions <\/strong>menu, all integrations are shown in the <strong>Available <\/strong>region. The developer authorization lets you authorize the integration with preconfigured Kore.ai\u2019s app with the Basic Auth option. <\/p>\n<p>Steps to authorize a BambooHR action using developer credentials:<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li>Go to <strong>Build &gt; Integrations &gt; Actions<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select the <strong>BambooHR <\/strong>action in the <strong>Available Actions<\/strong>\u00a0region.<\/li>\n<li>In the <strong>Configurations <\/strong>dialog, select the <strong>Authorization <\/strong>tab. <\/li>\n<li>Enter the following details:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Authorization Type<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; Select the <strong>Pre-authorize the Integration<\/strong>\u00a0option, and then select the <strong>Basic Auth<\/strong>\u00a0option.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><figure style=\"text-align:center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/multisite.korebots.com\/multisite-2\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/35\/sites\/25\/2023\/02\/pasted-image-0-11.png\" alt=\"Pasted image 0\"><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>API Key <\/strong>&#8211; The secret API key of your BambooHR account.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>Click <strong>Enable<\/strong>. When you configure the action for the first time, the <strong>Integration Successful<\/strong>\u00a0 pop-up is displayed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><figure style=\"text-align:center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/multisite.korebots.com\/multisite-2\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/35\/sites\/25\/2023\/02\/pasted-image-0-21.png\" alt=\"Pasted image 0\"><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: You will notice the BambooHR action is moved from <em>Available <\/em>to <em>Configured <\/em>region.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"h.7w9wuubycwmd\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Allow_End_User_to_Authorize\">Allow End User to Authorize<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>You can authorize the integration at a user level with their login credentials. The user authorization process involves requesting permission for Kore.ai&#8217;s BambooHR app to access an access token at runtime.\u00a0You can also use the basic auth profile to let a user configure the integration at runtime. <\/p>\n<p>Steps to authorize a BambooHR action at a user level:<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li>Go to <strong>Build &gt; Integrations &gt; Actions<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select the <strong>BambooHR <\/strong>action in the <strong>Available Actions<\/strong>\u00a0region.<\/li>\n<li>In the Configurations dialog, select the <strong>Authorization <\/strong>tab. <\/li>\n<li>Enter the following details:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Authorization Type<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; Select the <strong>Allow Users to Authorize the Integration<\/strong>\u00a0option, and then select the <strong>Basic Auth <\/strong>option.\n<ul>\n<li>Create your authorization profile to obtain an access token and use it to complete integration without using Kore.ai&#8217;s BambooHR app for authorization.\n<ul>\n<li>Click the <strong>Select Authorization<\/strong>\u00a0drop-down and select the <strong>Create New<\/strong>\u00a0option.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/p>\n<figure style=\"text-align:center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/multisite.korebots.com\/multisite-2\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/35\/sites\/25\/2023\/02\/pasted-image-0-23.png\" alt=\"Pasted image 0\"><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Select the type of authorization mechanism.
