{"id":47683,"date":"2022-10-04T11:17:51","date_gmt":"2022-10-04T10:17:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/developer.kore.ai\/v10-1\/?p=47683"},"modified":"2022-10-04T19:00:27","modified_gmt":"2022-10-04T18:00:27","slug":"change-flight-task","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/developer.kore.ai\/v10-1\/uncategorised\/change-flight-task\/","title":{"rendered":"Create a Change Flight Task"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This document is part of the documentation related to creating a sample travel assistant.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"w-separator size_small with_line width_default thick_1 style_solid color_border align_center\"><div class=\"w-separator-h\"><\/div><\/div>\n<h1><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Assistant_Capabilities\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Assistant Capabilities<\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The assistant we build will perform basic travel booking tasks, as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Check the status of a flight, based on the flight number provided by the user,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/developer.kore.ai\/v10-1\/docs\/bots\/how-tos\/travel-planing-assistant\/create-a-travel-virtual-assistant\/#Create_a_Dialog_Task\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">as seen here.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Update a flight booking,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/developer.kore.ai\/v10-1\/docs\/bots\/how-tos\/update-booking-task\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">as discussed here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Perform a flight change, based on the current flight and new flight preference provided by the user. as discussed in this present article.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"w-separator size_small with_line width_default thick_1 style_solid color_border align_center\"><div class=\"w-separator-h\"><\/div><\/div>\n<h1><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Add_the_Change_Flight_Dialog_Task_Intent\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Add the Change Flight Dialog Task \/ Intent<\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Change Flight\u00a0 task will prompt the user to enter their Current and New Flight Numbers.\u00a0 numbers.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Next it would prompt for the Seat preference.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It will then make a service call to update the booking appropriately.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The message indicating success or failure is displayed before the end of the dialog.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To add this Dialog Task, follow the steps below:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Open the Travel Planning Assistant, with the two pre-configured tasks \u2013 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Check Flight Status<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Update Booking<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Navigate to the <\/span><strong>Build &gt;<\/strong> <strong>Conversational Skills -&gt; Dialog Task<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> page from the left menu.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Click <\/span><strong>Create Dialog<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> from the top right. The <\/span><strong>Create Dialog <\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">screen will open.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Enter the following details:<\/span>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Intent Name<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u2013 Enter the Intent name, this is the phrase that triggers the dialog. The intent name should be simple and not more than 3-4 words. For example, <\/span><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Change Flight<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Under <\/span><strong>More Options<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, you can add a <\/span><strong>description<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and other dialog-related details. If not click on the newly added entity node to open<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Enter the following details:<\/span>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Name<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: <\/span><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">CurrentFlight<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Display Name<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: <\/span><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">New Flight\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Type<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: <\/span><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">String<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>User Prompts:<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Enter the following text<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/><\/span><code><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Enter the New Flight that you want to change style=\"font-weight: 400\">Entity Property Panel.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Add_a_Seat_Selection_Entity_Node\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Add a Seat Selection Entity Node<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Repeat the above steps to add another entity with the following details:<\/span>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Name<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: <\/span><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Seat<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Display Name<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: <\/span><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Seat<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Type<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: <\/span><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">List of items (Enumerated). <\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We need to provide the list of values that the user can select.<\/span>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Click the <\/span><strong>Settings (gear) icon<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> that appears next to the field.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Opt for <\/span><strong>Static List.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Enter the following options under separate rows as the <\/span><strong>Display name <\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2013 <\/span><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0e.g.: 21A, 25C, 32F. <\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Value and Synonym columns will auto-populate, leave them as is.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Define the percentage of <\/span><strong>Auto-correction<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> to be applied to match the user\u2019s input to a value in the list.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Click <\/span><strong>Save<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: It is included in the Bot Actions node. Here we will be using the Message node to confirm the update to the user..<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Click the <\/span><strong>+<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> below the <\/span><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">UpdateBooking <\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Bot Action node.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Select <\/span><strong>Message<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and click + <\/span><strong>New message<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. The <\/span><strong>Property Panel<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> for the Message Node is displayed.
