Instead of creating the Knowledge Graph from the Platform UI, you can work in your preferred editor like Spreadsheet or as a JSON file. The Platform gives you the option to create a Knowledge Graph in a spreadsheet or JSON and then  import it into the VA. Please refer to <\/span>Importing and Exporting a Knowledge Graph <\/span><\/a>for details. <\/span><\/p>\n

Here is an overview of how you can create a Knowledge Graph using an editor:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Download the <\/span>sample CSV or a JSON file<\/strong>. You can download these sample files from a blank Knowledge Graph too.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Edit the file by adding rows corresponding to the questions, responses, synonyms, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Import the file to your VA.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    From a CSV File<\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n

    You can create the Knowledge Graph using a sample spreadsheet that you can download from the VA. If you anticipate frequent changes to the Knowledge Graph, we recommend that you create it in a spreadsheet as it is easier to perform bulk updates compared to the application UI.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Follow the instructions below to build your Knowledge Graph in a spreadsheet.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Download the Sample CSV file<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

    1. Select the VA to work with and go to <\/span>Build<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. On the left pane, click <\/span>Conversation Skills <\/strong>> <\/span>Knowledge Graph<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. You can find the <\/span>Import<\/strong> option on the respective Knowledge Graph.<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. You are prompted to <\/span>back up<\/strong> the Knowledge Graph before proceeding. Choose the CSV or JSON format for the backup.<\/span><\/li>\n
    5. After backup, click <\/span>Proceed<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n
    6. On the corresponding dialog box, click <\/span>Sample CSV<\/strong>. The CSV file is downloaded to your local computer.<\/span>
