{"id":32344,"date":"2022-02-24T04:07:02","date_gmt":"2022-02-24T04:07:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/developer.kore.ai\/v10-1\/?p=32344"},"modified":"2022-02-24T05:10:04","modified_gmt":"2022-02-24T05:10:04","slug":"add-ringcentral-engage-as-a-channel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/developer.kore.ai\/v10-1\/docs\/bots\/channel-enablement\/add-ringcentral-engage-as-a-channel\/","title":{"rendered":"Add RingCentral Engage as a Channel"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To set up <strong>RingCentral Engage<\/strong> as a channel, you must complete the following steps:<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Add_the_Host_URL\">Add the Host URL<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Copy-paste the <strong>HOST URL<\/strong> from <strong>RingCentral Engage<\/strong> to the Kore.ai platform.<\/li>\n<li>Provide it in the <strong>Channels \u2192 RingCentral Engage \u2192 Config<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Generate_API_Access_Token\">Generate API Access Token<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Login to your <strong>RingCentral Engage<\/strong> developer account. The URL specific to your company will be available after creating a paid account with RingCentral Engage.<\/li>\n<li>Navigate to the <strong>Admin<\/strong> section and click the code snippet icon on the left navigation menu.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>API Access Tokens<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-33858 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/multisite.korebots.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/35\/ringcentral-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"628\" height=\"254\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If there are any tokens present already, you can use them or click <strong>ADD<\/strong> to generate a new <em>API Token<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-33862 size-full aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/multisite.korebots.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/35\/ringcentral-second.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"628\" height=\"281\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-33865 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/multisite.korebots.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/35\/ring-central-3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"628\" height=\"244\" \/><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Provide a <strong>Name<\/strong> for your API Token.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Agent <\/strong>from the drop-down list.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Save.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Navigate to the <em>API Tokens <\/em>screen and click on the <strong>Edit <\/strong>icon to land on the screen shown below where the generated <em>API Access Token <\/em>appears.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-33868 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/multisite.korebots.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/35\/ring-4.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"628\" height=\"277\" \/><\/p>\n<p>5. Copy and provide the generated<strong> API Access Token <\/strong>under <strong>Channels \u2192 RingCentral Engage \u2192 Config<\/strong> on the Kore.ai platform.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Setup_Webhook_Configuration\">Setup Webhook Configuration<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Once the <em>API Token<\/em> has been generated, navigate to <strong>Admin -&gt; Webhooks<\/strong>. Click the <strong>code snippet <\/strong>icon on the left navigation menu, and select <strong>Webhooks.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-33871 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/multisite.korebots.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/35\/ring5.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"628\" height=\"206\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If any webhook configurations are present already, you can use them or click <strong>ADD<\/strong> to generate a new webhook configuration.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-33874 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/multisite.korebots.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/35\/ring-6.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"628\" height=\"202\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-33877 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/multisite.korebots.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/35\/ring-7.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"628\" height=\"279\" \/><\/p>\n<p>1. Select the <strong>API Access Token<\/strong> generated.<\/p>\n<p>2. Copy the <strong>URL <\/strong>from the Kore.ai platform under the <strong>RingCentral Engage<\/strong> channel and paste it to the above\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 webhook configuration screen.<\/p>\n<p>3. Provide a <strong>Name <\/strong>for the configuration.<\/p>\n<p>4. The <em>Verification Token<\/em> will be generated automatically.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Copy the <strong>verification token<\/strong> and paste it in the <strong>Channels \u2192 RinCentral Engage \u2192 Config<\/strong> section of the Kore.ai platform.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>5. Provide any unique <strong>\u201cSecret Key\u201d<\/strong> of your choice.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-33880 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/multisite.korebots.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/35\/ring-8.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"628\" height=\"281\" \/><\/p>\n<p>6. Select the Channel you prefer or select all the channels if the message is to be delivered on all the channels.<\/p>\n<p>Please refer to this <a href=\"https:\/\/support.ringcentral.com\/engagedigital\/admin\/configure-entry-points.html\">link<\/a> for more information on how to configure channels.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Subscribe_to_events_for_message_delivery\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Subscribe to events for message delivery<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Select the <strong>content. imported<\/strong> event under the <strong>Subscriptions <\/strong>section.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Save.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Note:<\/em><\/strong><em> Make sure to check the <strong>Active<\/strong> option before you save.
