A Human Task is a task where a digital form is sent to the recipient to gather necessary inputs. The primary purpose of this task is to get inputs from a user. If you need to make a decision and need input, you can use this human task and fetch the required inputs. For example, let us consider an IT team planning to purchase a few assets (computers, servers, etc.) and are not aware of the budget. In this scenario, they can use a human task to get the budget as input from the finance team to make the decision.<\/span><\/p>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n

Configure Human Task<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

To configure a Human Task in the process flow, follow the below steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. On the left pane, you can find the <\/span>Tasks <\/b>section. Drag and drop the <\/span>Human Task <\/b>stencil from this section to the builder.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Click the <\/span>Human Task <\/b>stencil to open the Human Task<\/span> window.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. On the Human Task window, enter a name for the task in the <\/span>Name <\/b>field.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Click the <\/span>Notification <\/b>tab and configure the notification details:<\/span>\n
      \n
    1. Delivery Mode<\/b> – Select a delivery mode (channel) from the drop-down list. If it is already selected and you wish to change it, then click <\/span>Override <\/b>and choose from the list.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Input Form <\/b>– Select an <\/span>input form<\/span><\/i> from the drop-down list or you can create a new form.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Subject <\/b>– Enter a subject for the notification mail.<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Message<\/b> – Enter the relevant text related to the notification. Click <\/span>{…}<\/b> to add variables to the message.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    5. Click the <\/span>Assignment <\/b>tab to configure the recipient settings. You can select any of the below options:<\/span>\n
        \n
      1. Single Recipient<\/b> – If selected, you can send the response to the recipient configured in this section.<\/span>\n
          \n
        1. Enter the recipient email address in the <\/span>Recipient ID<\/b> field.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
        2. Multiple Recipients<\/b> – If selected, you can send the response to multiple recipients configured in this section.<\/span>\n
            \n
          1. Enter recipient email addresses separated by a comma in the <\/span>Recipient ID<\/b> field.<\/span><\/li>\n
          2. Under the <\/span>Assignment Logic<\/b> section, select an option:<\/span>\n
              \n
            1. Assign to All<\/b> – If selected, the system assigns the task to all recipients.<\/span><\/li>\n
            2. Least Occupied<\/b> – If selected, the system assigns the task to the recipient with the least number of open tasks.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
            3. Group <\/b>– If selected, you can send the response to a group. Only one of the recipients from the group can complete the task.\u00a0<\/span>\n

              1. Enter the group email addresses separated by a comma in the <\/span>Group ID<\/b> field.<\/span><\/li>\n
              2. You can also click <\/span>{…}<\/b> to add <\/span>process variables<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
              3. Click the <\/span>Timer <\/b>tab to set the deadline to complete the task.<\/span>\n
                  \n
                1. By default, the <\/span>deadline <\/b>option is disabled. Turn on the toggle to enable it.<\/span><\/li>\n
                2. After you enable it, enter a proper date and time in the <\/span>Resolve Within<\/b> field.<\/span><\/li>\n
                3. Under the <\/span>Reminders and Escalations<\/b> section, you can perform the following:<\/span>\n
                    \n
                  1. Set Reminders<\/b> – Select the checkbox to enable it and enter a proper date and time in the <\/span>Remind<\/b> field.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
                  2. Escalations <\/b>– Select the checkbox to enable it. In the <\/span>Escalate <\/b>field, enter the date and time to trigger the escalation. In the <\/span>Escalate to<\/b> field, enter the email address of a Manager\/Admin to send the escalation notification.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
                  3. Close the Human task window.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
