{"id":28949,"date":"2021-08-14T18:52:50","date_gmt":"2021-08-14T17:52:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/developer.kore.ai\/v10-1\/?p=28949"},"modified":"2022-04-09T08:59:53","modified_gmt":"2022-04-09T07:59:53","slug":"create-and-publish-the-process-app","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/developer.kore.ai\/v10-1\/docs\/process-apps\/how-to-articles\/create-and-publish-the-process-app\/","title":{"rendered":"How to Create and Publish the Process App?"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class=\"l-section wpb_row height_auto\"><div class=\"l-section-h i-cf\"><div class=\"g-cols vc_row type_default valign_top\"><div class=\"vc_col-sm-12 wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\r\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column \">\r\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\r\n\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You must have a Kore.ai platform account to get started with the Process App. To create a Process App, follow the below steps:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Log in to the Process Apps with valid credentials.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On the landing page, you can set up your process app by selecting any of the below options:<\/span>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Explore Store<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Start from Scratch<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-29825 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/multisite.korebots.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/35\/Gettings-started.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1350\" height=\"559\" \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To start from the store, click <\/span><b>Explore Store<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You can view, explore, and install the Process App that suits your business needs.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Once you have accessed the Process App store, follow the below steps to explore the various templates offered:<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You can <\/span><b>filter<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> the process apps based on the following criteria:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Domains <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">like Administration, Banking, Finance, HR, IT, Legal, and more.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Features <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">like Branching and Merging, Complex Process Flows, Conditional Flow Switch, and more. You can select multiple features.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Channels <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">for deployment like Email, MS Teams, Slack, API, and WorkAssist. You can selec<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">t multiple channels.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You can <\/span><b>sort<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> the template process apps based on:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Number of installations<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Recency<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Alphabetically<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hover over a template process app to <\/span><b>preview<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> its features like:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Name, icon, and summary of the process app.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Associated features, complexity, the channels of deployment, and the number of downloads.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On the preview display, click <\/span><b>Explore<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> for more details like:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A <\/span><b>video<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> that explains the process app\u2019s features.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You can find two sections that give:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Overview<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u2013 This section gives a summary of the template process app and the features available in this process app.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Technical Specifications<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u2013 This section gives a detailed overview of the technical aspects of the process app like data source, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On the right column, you can find:<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Category<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">complexity<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> of the process app.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The number of times the process app was downloaded.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The list of <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">channels,<\/span><\/i> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">languages,<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">integrations<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (if any) supported.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Related Apps<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> section for the process app is similar to the selected template process app.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">After exploring the process app, if required, you can click <\/span><b>Install<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> to install the Process App.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You are prompted to log in to your Kore.ai account, if not logged in already.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you do not have a valid Kore.ai account, you can create it now.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-29829\" src=\"https:\/\/multisite.korebots.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/35\/Gettings-started-Store.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1143\" height=\"678\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To start from scratch, click <\/span><b>Start from Scratch<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On the Basic Setup dialog box, enter a name in the <\/span><b>Process Name<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> field. For example, Leave Request.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Enter a short description in the <\/span><b>Description <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">field.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Click <\/span><b>Proceed <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">to start accessing the application.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-29833\" src=\"https:\/\/multisite.korebots.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/35\/Gettings-started-Scratch.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"896\" height=\"464\" \/><\/p>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"w-separator size_medium with_line width_default thick_1 style_solid color_border align_center\"><div class=\"w-separator-h\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<h4><b>Publish a Process App<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To publish a process app, follow the below steps:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Open the process app you want to publish.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Click <\/span><b>Publish <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">on the top-right.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On the Publish window, you can find the below components with configurations:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Triggers<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Flow<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If the process app is published for the first time, the system enables all the above components to be published, and you can select\/clear the components. Once the process app is published, and if there are any changes made post publishing, components updated after publishing the latest version are enabled for selection, and the rest of the sections remain in the disabled state. At least one trigger and channel are mandatory to publish a process app.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Select the <\/span><b>Visibility<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> option from <b>Public<\/b> (visible to anyone with the link), or <b>Private<\/b> (restricted to specific user groups and users in the system).<b>Note<\/b>: Selecting <b>Visibility<\/b> is mandatory where <i>Public<\/i> is selected by default.
