It is usually 7 years and can be revised at periodic intervals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The end-user interaction data for <strong>Enterprise<\/strong> accounts is retained for 7 years. Enterprises can customize the retention period to suit their policies using the Data Retention Period option.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Steps<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Go to <\/span><strong>Security &amp; Control -&gt; Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Under <\/span><strong>Data Retention Period<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, you have two options:<\/span><\/li>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\" &nbsp;>Use the default retention period \u2013 7 years.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\" &nbsp;>Use the custom data retention period and set the duration between 1 month to 7 years.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ol>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a ref=\"magnificPopup\" href=\"https:\/\/kore-wordpress.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com\/developer.kore.ai\/v10-1\/v9-2\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/35\/sites\/26\/20201020114510\/BAC_securitySettings_DRP.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-48202\" src=\"https:\/\/kore-wordpress.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com\/developer.kore.ai\/v10-1\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/35\/20201020114510\/BAC_securitySettings_DRP.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"365\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The following data would no longer be available post the data retention period:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Conversation History \/ Messages<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Usage Information<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Task Execution and Performance Metrics<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Session and Message Tags<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Alert Instances<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Debug Logs<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Note:<\/b> The custom data retention period cannot be set if your account has a large volume of messages. In such a case, you are requested to reach out to Kore.ai Support for setting Custom Retention Period.<\/p>\n<div class=\"w-separator size_small with_line width_default thick_1 style_solid color_border align_center\"><div class=\"w-separator-h\"><\/div><\/div>\n<h1><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Context_Persistence\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Context Persistence<\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">By default, the XO Platform stores the context of the end-users\u2019 conversations with the assistant. This context information can be used for debugging and analysis purposes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">However, you might not want the Platform to store this information due to the presence of sensitive data about customers or other security-related reasons. You can opt not to store the same using the <\/span><strong>Context Persistence<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> option.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Steps<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Go to <\/span><strong>Security &amp; Control -&gt; Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Under <\/span><strong>Context Persistence<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, you have two options:<\/span><\/li>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Store end users\u2019 conversation context information and allow authorized developers to view this information<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u2013 this is the default setting.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Do not store end users\u2019 conversation context information<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u2013 this will ensure that:<\/span><\/li>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">the Platform does not store the context information<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Option to view context information in the XO Platform, like Metrics and any other places, is disabled.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ol>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a ref=\"magnificPopup\" href=\"https:\/\/kore-wordpress.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com\/developer.kore.ai\/v10-1\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/35\/20221005103903\/BAC-securitySettings-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-48202\" src=\"https:\/\/kore-wordpress.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com\/developer.kore.ai\/v10-1\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/35\/20221005103903\/BAC-securitySettings-1-1024x584.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"365\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kore-wordpress.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com\/developer.kore.ai\/v10-1\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/35\/20221005103903\/BAC-securitySettings-1-1024x584.png 1024w, https:\/\/kore-wordpress.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com\/developer.kore.ai\/v10-1\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/35\/20221005103903\/BAC-securitySettings-1-300x171.png 300w, https:\/\/kore-wordpress.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com\/developer.kore.ai\/v10-1\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/35\/20221005103903\/BAC-securitySettings-1.png 1344w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"w-separator size_small with_line width_default thick_1 style_solid color_border align_center\"><div class=\"w-separator-h\"><\/div><\/div>\n<h1><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"IP_Address_Restriction\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">IP Address Restriction<\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">By default, users can access the XO Platform, and the Admin Console from any IP address as long as they have valid credentials.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You can, additionally, restrict the access from a specified range of IP addresses. This restriction applies to developers from your account alone, i.e if a developer belongs to another account also their access to the Platform using that account will not be restricted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Steps<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Go to <\/span><strong>Security &amp; Control -&gt; Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Under <\/span><strong>IP Address Restriction<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, you have two options:<\/span><\/li>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">No restriction<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u2013 this is the default setting and access is not restricted to any IP address.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Restrict<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u2013 Here you can specify a range of IP Addresses to which the access is restricted.
