Cisco Jabber is a platform that offers multiple communication methods, and which you can integrate with the assistants built with the Kore.ai XO Platform. <\/span>Adding the Jabber channel to your Kore.ai VA allows end-users to interact with it using their <\/span>Jabber<\/span><\/em> accounts.<\/span> This article shows you how to add it as a Channel, where your VA can communicate to end-users via Jabber. <\/span>You must have or register for a developer account in the <\/span>Jabber<\/span><\/em> portal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Configuration<\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n

To add the Cisco Jabber channel, follow the below steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Select the assistant that you want to add the Jabber channel to.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Go to Deploy > <\/span>Channels<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Click the<\/span> Jabber<\/strong> icon. The <\/span>Jabber Channel<\/strong> page<\/strong> is displayed.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. To enable a webhook integration on your Jabber application, log into your Jabber app. Copy the <\/span>Webhook URL<\/strong> from the <\/span>Configurations<\/strong> tab on the Jabber channel page and enter the <\/span>Webhook URL<\/strong> field in the Jabber app for integration.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Go to the <\/span>Configurations<\/strong> tab on the Jabber channel page to complete the channel setup.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Capture the <\/span>POST URL<\/strong> details from your Jabber app and enter them in the <\/span>POST URL<\/strong> field.<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. You can also optionally generate and capture the <\/span>Access Token <\/strong>details from your Jabber integration and enter in the<\/span> Access Token field<\/strong> to enable secure communication between Jabber and the VA.<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Select <\/span>Yes<\/strong> and click <\/span>Save<\/strong> to enable Jabber Channel.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
