As a Bots\u00a0Admin, you can send a password reset email to any user, including yourself, from the Bots\u00a0Admin Console if Single Sign-On (SSO) is not enabled. When SSO\u00a0is enabled, password policies are not in effect for Bots\u00a0Admins or Kore.ai users. This topic describes how to select a user, and then send a password reset email to that user.<\/p>\n

Tip: <\/strong>If SSO is enabled, Bots\u00a0Admins can still log on to the Bots\u00a0Admin Console directly using their password credentials and bypass SSO.<\/p>\n

Complete the steps in the following procedure to send a password reset email to a user.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. On the Users<\/strong> tab on the Users<\/strong> page in the User\u00a0Management<\/strong>\u00a0module, in the Kore.ai Bots\u00a0Admin Console<\/strong>, click a user name in the Name <\/strong>column. The < User<\/strong><\/em> > page is displayed.<\/li>\n
  2. Click Reset Password<\/strong>. A Reset password for < User<\/em> ><\/strong>\u00a0confirmation dialog is displayed.<\/li>\n
  3. Click Reset Password<\/strong>.\n

    Note: <\/strong>If Single Sign-On is enabled, Kore.ai passwords are not used and the Reset Password\u00a0<\/strong>button is not displayed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The password reset email<\/em> sent message is displayed at the top of the < User<\/strong><\/em> > page and an email is sent to the user with instructions about how to reset the password.
